Local Employee Care
Since its establishment in 1973, Billion has been in Xindian, New Taipei City for over over 50 years. In order to care for local employees, the proportion of employing local staff in Billion Group has consistently exceeded 30%. For example, among Billion employees, with a total of 118 individuals, 34 reside in Xindian and 11 in Wenshan District, resulting in a local employment ratio of 38%. Billion Watts, with a total of 89 employees, 23 reside in Xindian, and 16 in Wenshan District, leading to a local employment ratio of 44%.(Updata:2024/08/31)

Happiness Charity
In 2023, the Billion Group is dedicated to enhancing the positive impact on society, addressing societal needs, and contributing to a better community. Billion is integrating its expertise and resources to invest in the education of young children. Furthermore, it has signed a partnership agreement with St. John's University to jointly cultivate talents in green energy storage, contributing to clean energy education. For the 2023 New Year gifts, Billion continues to demonstrate care for vulnerable groups by selecting gift boxes from the "Children Are Us" Foundation. Additionally, at the headquarter, Billion organized a blood donation event to request participation from the building and the community, promoting the sharing of life and spreading love through blood donation.
To promote work equality for people with intellectual disabilities, Billion Group calls on the public to pay attention to and care for people with intellectual disabilities. By purchasing charity gift boxes from Children Are Us Foundation, we convey love and warmth to people with intellectual disabilities, hoping to have a positive impact on their lives and allow them to demonstrate courage and perseverance.
The Dragon Boat Festival charity gift box from Children Are Us Foundation is a meaningful gift, representing the joy of the festival and the warmth of family. A portion of the proceeds from each charity gift box purchased will be donated to Children Are Us Foundation to support their education, training, and career development, creating more opportunities for them. Through this small action, we hope to bring positive changes to the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
Billion Group has always been dedicated to social responsibility and public welfare. This Children Are Us Foundation Dragon Boat Festival charity activity is a concrete manifestation of our care and support for the community of people with intellectual disabilities. We believe that everyone should enjoy equal work opportunities and respect, regardless of their abilities and background. This participation is not only a celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival, but also an important step in our joint efforts to achieve an inclusive and inclusive society, and we can also take care of the disadvantaged groups when giving gifts, and a total of 183 gift boxes were ordered throughout the year, spending a total of NTD$61,456.
Billion SDG's Star Seed Project
We integrate company resources to invest in the education of young children and contribute to clean energy education. Introducing the Billion Group's SDGs Star Seed Project, with a focus on public welfare (youth cultivation, educational collaboration, environmental conservation). The project targets national elementary schools within 3 kilometers of the Billion Group's headquarters and schools where employees' children study (including 14 national elementary schools in Xindian District, New Taipei City, and 20 national elementary schools in Wenshan District, Taipei City).
The main form of resource investment is campus lectures sharing and long-term community campus participation. We hope to leverage the group's core business to deepen connections with nearby community campuses, enhance community identity, and extend the ongoing social impact. By 2024/12/19, there were a total of 2276 participants and an investment of $41,408.
Star Project started with the first event at Beixin Elementary School in Xindian, New Taipei City, in October 2023. The goal for 2024 is to expand to five national elementary schools and revisit Beixin Elementary School.
The long-term goal for the next five years is to organize more than 40 sessions of Star Project lecture events, with the participation of over 12,600 students.
Billion Charity Day: Donating Blood, Spreading Love
On August 1, 2023, Billion organized a blood donation event, aiming to respond to social needs by spreading love through blood donation. The event attracted a large number of participants from both within and outside the company, who generously donated blood to contribute to the urgent blood transfusion needs of patients. This event highlighted the firm commitment to corporate social responsibility. In total, 107 bags of blood were donated with the efforts of 10 individuals. Billion contributed $25,000, and Billion Watts contributed $13,500.
Billion held the second blood donation event on August 22, 2024 (Thursday), aiming to respond to social needs and pass on love with blood, donating a total of 82 bags of blood and investing 10 manpower, Billion invested $20,400 and Billion Watts invested NTD $11,500.
