Billion Group (3027) subsidiary Billion EVC has partnered with EV STAR to establish Taiwan’s largest single-site EV charging station in the FAFAGO Zhonghe Green Energy Park, adjacent to Costco. This station, outfitted with 98 BH-2000 7kW AC chargers from Billion’s own brand, demonstrates the group’s focus on efficient and reliable EV charging hardware. Enhanced with innovative features like optimized charging workflows and secure payment solutions, this installation showcases the diverse applications of green technology and smart charging solutions. The station not only boosts convenience for EV drivers but also introduces new business models and opportunities for Charge Point Operators (CPOs). The site began operations this month, with three additional green energy parks expected to launch by year-end, expanding Taiwan's green charging network.

The charging station’s core feature, “Park and Charge,” is managed by an automated system that organizes charging queues, eliminating the wait for EV owners due to non-charging vehicles in the lot. Integrated with an EasyCard payment system, the station allows CPOs to choose between time-based and session-based billing, offering a convenient pay-as-you-go model that reduces bad debt risks. Users do not need to link personal data, significantly lowering privacy risks while ensuring secure, private payments.

The FAFAGO Zhonghe Green Energy Park is more than just a charging station parking lot; it is an innovative, comprehensive green energy service site. The park features facilities such as self-service and automated car wash stations, stress-relief massage chairs, and a family-friendly go-kart track. All green electricity in the park is supplied by on-site solar power facilities integrated with an energy storage system. This innovative charging station, blending leisure services with green energy, not only generates additional revenue for the park but also provides EV drivers with a diverse green energy experience while they wait for charging, greatly enhancing the overall value of charging applications.

Innovation in Green Energy with Taiwan-Made Solutions for Carbon-Free Mobility

Billion EVC’s proprietary Billion AC charger, the BH-2000, is developed, produced, and manufactured in Taiwan and has passed the VPC voluntary product certification. With a 7kW output power, it supports Type 1 (J1772) and Type 2 (IEC-62196) plug standards, providing reliable charging for most EVs on the market. The BH-2000 features a 4.3-inch display, meets IP55 outdoor dustproof and waterproof standards, and complies with CNS15511-1 safety standards, including impact resistance (IK08). It also has OCPP communication protocol compatibility, allowing seamless integration with most cloud-based charging station systems, thus enhancing operational efficiency for CPOs. “This collaboration combines our technological strengths to provide EV users with greater charging convenience while advancing green energy adoption,” Billion EVC stated.
