The Hsinchu Fire Bureau held an ambulance donation ceremony on the 3rd, and the Vice Mayor Chen-Yuan Chiu attended to accept the donation on behalf of the representative, and awarded Billion and Billion Watts certificates of appreciation and ambulance commemorative models to praise the company's enthusiasm for public welfare.

When Mr. Xu-Feng Zheng, the former COO of Billion Electric, left his job two and a half years ago, he deeply missed the nurturing and care he had received from Billion over the years, which made his career rich and fulfilling. He then put forward a suggestion to the chairman of Billion Electric, hoping to donate an ambulance in the name of Billion Electric, in order to express his gratitude to the company, Tim Chen, the chairman of the board of directors, and Mr. C. F. Chen, the previous chairman.

Billion Electric was founded in 1973, and the communications business division was established in 1993 and a communications R&D department was set up in Hsinchu - Hsinchu laboratory, and under the leadership of Mr. Xu-Feng Zheng, it has achieved outstanding results. In order to thank Mr. Xu-Feng Zheng for his generosity, the chairman of Billion Electric decided to donate this ambulance to Hsinchu City, an important base of the Communications Division.

Vice Mayor Chiu said that rescue work is the heaviest duty of firefighters, and having good ambulances and equipment are the best support for ambulance personnel, and thanks to Billion Electric Co., Ltd. for its enthusiastic contribution to social welfare, this spirit of love is worthy of admiration. Today, the ambulances donated by Billion are equipped with electric stretcher beds, AED automatic cardiac electrocardiogram devices, 12-lead ECG monitors and complete ambulance medical equipment, each with an amount of up to 4.07 million. The introduction of the new ambulance will increase the rescue capacity, protect the lives of citizens, and provide better and safer ambulance equipment for ambulance personnel, so as to make Hsinchu a happy city with peace, stability and safety.

Director of Fire Bureau Shi-Gong Li said that he has been very grateful for the love of the society, and enthusiastically donated all kinds of ambulances and medical equipment, Hsinchu City last year about 23,000 emergency rescue cases, about 18,000 people were sent to the hospital, under the guidance and efforts of all the rescue personnel of the fire bureau, the emergency responsible hospital and all the medical instructors, the emergency rescue survival rate increased from 18.57% in 2011 to 46.31% in 2023, which is the highest in the country. The complete recovery rate has increased from 0.4% in 2011 to 11.07% in 2023, which is also much higher than the national average recovery rate of 6.61%.

With the contributions and dedication from the society, it helps the fire department to enrich its ambulance capacity and jointly protect the safety of the public. The donated ambulance this time will provide the best emergency ambulance service quality for the public, and also make it more convenient and reassuring for firefighters to perform ambulance duties.
